Good evening,
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our FIRST Championship parent meeting. We are incredibly excited to be heading to Houston and appreciate your support as we work through a quick turnaround to make this trip possible.
Below is a summary of the key information covered. The full slide deck and scholarship form are attached for reference.
Event Overview
FIRST Championship in Houston, TX (April 29 – May 2)
Travel dates: April 27 – May 3
Estimated group: ~35 students and 6 mentors, with some families traveling as well
Cost & Financial Information
Current estimated cost per student: $1,500
Cost could decrease to ~$1,100 if we meet our fundraising goal
Payment plan option available: $200 initial deposit, $325/month for four months
Scholarships will be available
Our goal is to ensure every student who wants to attend is able to

Fundraising
Team fundraising goal: $50,000
$5,000 already raised through our PayPal campaign
Fundraising directly reduces the cost per student and supports scholarships

Required Forms
All required forms must be completed for students to attend:
STIMS - Amy, Emma, Evan, Jaime, Nathan, Sonya
Consent & Release - Daniel, Maximillian
Liability & Media Release - Amy, Evan, Jaime, Nathan
Students will not be able to travel if these are incomplete.
Merch
Team merch deadline: April 8
All students attending need at least one green polo (preferably more)
Fan shop orders recommended by April 10
A portion of purchases supports the team
Next Steps
Confirm travel plans & Pay the student deposit by tomorrow, April 1st at noon
Complete any missing forms
