Good afternoon,
As we move further into the build season, here are a few quick updates and reminders.
Required Safety Forms
Safety forms are required for competition participation. If forms were submitted at Monday’s practice, please disregard this note as I am catching up after a few days out of town.
Missing STIMS:
Amy, Daniel, Edmund, Emma, Evan, Farhan, Gido, Jaime, Jennifer, Jerry, Nathan, Sonya
Missing Liability & Release Form:
Amy, Daniel, Evan, Gido, Jaime, Jennifer, Jerry, Nathan, Benjamin L, Joshua, Nolan
Team Apparel Store
The team store is open through February 9 for additional competition attire, including beanies.
All students attending competitions must have at least one green team polo (having more than one is strongly recommended). This will be the final store run before competitions.

Team Fanshop (always open): link
Impact Award Feedback
The Impact team is requesting feedback on their written submission. Please review the attached document, questions first then the essay, and share feedback by February 6.
There’s no need to focus on grammar for this round. We’re most interested in feedback on the content, clarity, and any questions that feel unanswered. The team will also give a 7 minute presentation and submit a digital portfolio.
Frozen Fiesta Scrimmage
Valley High School (Des Moines)
Saturday, February 21 | 8:00 am–4:30 pm
This event will serve as driver tryouts and a competition robot test run. It is open to the public and is typically more collaborative work time than full match play. Travel details will follow.
Regional Competitions and Deposits
If you have not already done so, please submit your student’s regional deposit or RSVP that they are not attending within the next few days so we can plan team expenses accurately.
A non-refundable $50 deposit per student, per regional is required and will be applied toward the final cost. We are actively pursuing fundraising and sponsorships to support students. If you have any questions regarding this, please reach out as soon as possible.

Save the Date: Junior Bots Summer Camps
These camps are the team’s largest fundraiser and an all-hands-on-deck effort. Students are needed to help run and support camps. Please mark your calendars, registration is filling quickly.

August 3–7
As always, this was a lot of information. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
