About the event
Junior Bots: Junior Game Jam is a hands-on programming camp for 6th–8th graders focused on designing and building original software games. Students learn how to storyboard game ideas, develop game mechanics, and bring their concepts to life through coding. Along the way, campers play and analyze other STEM-based games, explore problem-solving strategies, and collaborate with peers to refine their designs.
Schedule
Core Camp Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
Early Start (optional, additional cost): 8:00–10:00 AM
Late Stay (optional, additional cost): 3:00–5:00 PM
A nut-free snack will be provided mid-morning each day. Campers should bring a packed lunch that does not require refrigeration or heating. Additional camp details, including what to bring and daily activities, will be shared prior to camp.
